knife, sheath, paracord and fire starter!
This is an amazing gadget to have on a camping trip! It's very lightweight so you won't have to worry about it in your backpack. It has a very good feel to it and is easy to handle because of the paracord wrap on the handle. It has a very sharp edge and the serrated base of the knife can be used for small twigs when needed.

I really feel that Walmart is really trying to step it up when it comes to their camping equipment. They aren't trying to compete with the big name outdoor outfitters. But their gear has come along way from what is used to be. This knife if good for a standard camping trip! One that isn't in extreme weather conditions. Walmart camping gear can get the job done pretty easily. This tool is great for beginners and campers on a budget!PrincessInMs
Great for camping or hiking
The paracord handle makes it easy to grip. The blade is sharp and is good for going in the woods. We plan on using it when we go camping this weekend. The magnesium alloy fire starter is easy to use and works great. We had a fire started really fast. I like that the blade is rust resistant so I can take it with me on the boat fishing. The case is good and well built. It holds the knife in with velcro and the fire starter is slides into a small pocket in the front. Very handy and easy to carry.Clover
good all around knife for camping etc.
The Ozark Trail ParaCord Handle Knife appears to be a high quality knife for the outdoors person. The blade of the knife is definitely sharp, so handle it with care. If you have children around, don't let them mess around with this knife. The serrated base of the knife blade looks like it will saw through small branches if the need arises. I assume the second serrated area, opposite the blade edge, is used to scape the included magnesium alloy fire starter stick. No instructions were found on the package regarding the proper use of the fire starter, but I found a several instructional videos online. The paracord wrapped handle is a novel idea. The handle is easy to grip and if need be, the paracord could be untied and used for a wide variety of purposes. Paracord holds up well even when wet, thus getting the knife soaking wet won't adversely affect the cord. The sheath is adequate and the belt loop is a generous size. I assume the small pocket on the sheath will hold the fire starter stick, but I chose to set the stick aside.Denver27
