Handy features
This hatchet is one of the handiest items I have seen. It comes with a firestarter,a rope and different size wrenches. It is small so it's easy to store this hatchet fits right in your glovebox. I am going to get these for all my vehicles. It has a multitude of uses. You can tie things down with the rope and it's sharp enough that if you get hungry you could join something for dinner. It's a great survivalist tool. I love that you can take down small limbs with this hatchetDdot
Works for me, check out the firesteel.
Only need one a few times a year so at this price it works for me. It sharpens up adequately, dont know how long it will hold up, but I'm not building a log cabin with it so I think it will be fine. The cordage is a nice bonus as is the firesteel, which is actually 2 rods joined together. Magnesium and a flint. So if your'e only scraping the magnesium side you won't get any sparks. If you plan on using it maybe check out a YouTube video on starting a fire with a magnesium/flint combo rod. The firesteel worked well for me and fits fits snugly within the enclosed cover. For what I paid and what I'll use it for I consider this a decent little piece of gear.John
Surprisingly AMAZING!
I saw this hatchet online and thought it would be crap. I saw it in store and decided to give it a shot. Judging from experience and the price, it is probably 440B or 440C. It ways 11.2 Ounces making it great for backpacking. It is great for beginners!NATE
