  • Use and care:
    • With this set, you do not need to use very high heat. For best use and care, we suggest heating the pan for a few seconds and then adding oil or butter to avoid sticking the food to the pan.
    • When hand washing your set, dry your set and do not let the copper bottom air dry as this will cause your copper to get spots.  Copper does tarnish over time, but with proper care using a commercial cleaning agent, it will last for a long time. We highly recommend you towel dry your cookware immediately after washing. Copper also scratches, so play close attention on how you store and stack your pots and pans after use.
    • For food stains, soak in warm soapy water and gently use a scouring pad. For tougher food stains, repeat but vigorously use the scouring pad. Do not use steel wool pads or a copper-based scrubber as they will scratch the surface of your cookware.
    • For water spots that appear, please note this is actually caused by the minerals in the water, not the water itself.  As we recommended, hand dry your pans immediately after washing and the water spots are not likely to be a problem. If they do occur, we suggest a little club soda inside the pan and swish it around. Rinse and wipe completely dry with a clean cloth. As an alternative to club soda, you can also soak the pan in vinegar for an hour and then clean as usual with a mild detergent and soft scrubbing cloth.
    • For burn marks or heat damage which could be caused from your pan being left on a burner for too long. We recommend using and applying baking soda to the surface (only if the pan is completely dry). You can rub the baking soda on the mark with a dry cloth or sponge. You can also add a little water to create a paste-like consistency.

Bad Buy - Very Disappointed
I purchased this set of saucepans earlier this year as we were moving back to the UK and I figured they would be a good replacement for my existing Revereware ones. How wrong could I have been?
The first time I used one of the saucepans, the copper bottom went almost black. I was able to clean it off with a proper cleaner, but I knew then they would not be very user friendly if I had to do this each time I used them. They mark really easily inside and again, I had to use vinegar to get these marks off. The lids are nigh on impossible to dry, as the water stays in the rim. Even when I was certain I had got all the water out, when I next go to use them, there is a line down the side of the saucepan where water has dripped. Parts of the copper bottom are actually turning green so they look horrible.
I have purchased many PW items and thought I was onto a winner with these but sadly not. Unfortunately, I cannot return them as they would cost a fortune to post back.
My Revereware saucepans are almost 20 years old now, and compared to these, they look like new.
A word of warning to anybody thinking of purchasing these pans - unless you aren't fussed about how they look once they've been used, steer clear!Daisy
"Copper" finish washed right off!
I just bought these this afternoon. Came home, hand washed them, and then cooked supper using them (low and medium-low heat). I waited until after supper to wash the pans, so they were already cool. When I washed the deep frying pan, the copper finish came right off! I used a rag, warm water, and dish soap.

This is not normal for copper cookware! I have copper pots from my mother-in-law that are older than I am, and the copper still looks good. It seriously looks as though these copper pans are painted or simply plated with an extremely thin plate. Very disappointing. I'd rather return them and save my money for a set of quality pans.BarefootArkansas10
Got this as a gift and I dislike it
First off, don't buy anything copper if you have an electric glass top stove. It won't conduct heat right and unless you have the lid on the pan, it won't get hot. Secondly, I've not had this set for a MONTH and my skillet has already formed a huge knot on the bottom. So I'm in the process of contacting their customer service over it. If they don't fix this, I'm not buying a single thing from Ree Drummond again!AnonymousReviewer112
Not sure how these could improve
I purchased this set a week or two ago, and I've used them a bit now. If you follow the care instructions included, they clean up just fine. I like that they have measurement lines on the inside... nice little feature. The handles are as sturdy as I'd hoped, and the bottom is good and solid. They have a very durable feel to them, and I LOVE the way they look! I got rid of all of my non stick cookware and opted for this set, so I've got a bit of a learning curve to work with, but I am VERY happy with my purchase. The ONLY thing I could think of that could change or be better is you cannot adjust the handles/tighten them if they came loose like with my previous pots and pans, but on the other hand, they feel sturdy enough that having to tighten the handles wouldn't even be an issue. They're bolted on there pretty good! I really really enjoy this set.... how hefty it feels, how gorgeous it looks, and how great it cooks. Completely happy with my purchase :)MSP1985
These are just lovely!
What a nice set of pans! We upgraded from some pretty old cookware and these are made to such a decent standard. Smoothly rolled steel edges at the top, well-bonded copper bottoms. The handles are riveted on and made of cast iron, so they feel really luxurious in the hand. Each pan lid is made of tempered glass, so the whole deal is oven safe to several hundred degrees (see your owner's manual for more about that).

These need a bit of babying because of their construction, but that's okay. They cook so beautifully to make up for it. Here's what I do: when I'm done with a pan, I wash it up straight away and then use a little on the inside to restore the brushed steel (swirl around in the direction of the texture, rather than scrubbing). Then I flip the pan over and polish the bottom with Brasso, and then rewash and thoroughly dry the pan. Then, I hang it up on our rack and admire it.JayPrairie
